An excellent starting hole with plenty of room for your first drive. A fairway bunker may penalize the longer hitters. The green is a challenge as it's very narrow and long with 3 tiers. Hitting the right tier is essential to making a birdie.
The second hole is a nice par 3 that always seems to have a half club head wind. The large green is guarded by a well placed trap. It's a difficult par if your tee shot is long, so if you do miss the green be short and avoid the trap.
A beautiful and challenging hole requiring demanding drive that must thread the needle between the trees to setup an uphill approach shot to an elevated green. In order to have any chance for birdie, your ball must be below the hole. Playing this hole from the back tee (405 yards uphill) is a test for the best golfers.
The 18th hole is the most difficult of the par 3s. Typically, winds from left to right create a demanding tee shot for the best iron players. With water guarding the left side of the green and mounds and swales on the right, the only safe landing area is on the green. Front pin placements are the most difficult, since the green is very narrow in the front. Double and triple bogies on this hole are not unusual, so take the right club and hit it straight.
